So made a mistake and texted Kurt(my ex) on new years. And we kinda texted and he said that he had a gf so I tried to be the “cool ex” and not let it show that it bothered me but it did esp when he said she’s been his gf for 2 months. So I’m like wait we broke up early September so you dated someone and then made them your gf in November after a 6 year relationship, that’s cool.
Then the next day he calls me and we talk for like an hour. Just mainly talking about how he was disinvited from drinks with his gf and how she’s a less fancier version of me. It felt like we hadn’t stopped talking and he even said that. He was even singing and making his silly puns. Then he had to go somewhere and I called him later and he says that all I have to do is say the word and he’ll break up with his gf and how he always has time for me and how he always thinks of me and talks to me with his gf.
Then the next day we didnt talk much.
Yesterday I texted him hi and he replied with a video of him in his gf. I asked him why he would do that when if the situation was reversed I wouldn’t do that to him and he had no answer. and sent me this song
And I said that I wish we worked out and I will always care about him but we tear each other apart for whatever reason and then he said he was going to bed and hopes life works out for me.
